Hope

Like many of the other virtues, hope protects us from discouragement.

It’s a positive state of mind. Like when we want something to happen, but can’t be sure if it will.

Something to hold onto throughout the inevitable ups and downs of life's journey. It is the motivation that allows us to persevere even if our desired outcome isn’t guaranteed.

Studies have found that people with a hopeful approach to life have better physical and mental health, and a stronger social support. Maybe because their energy is so nice to be around?
